99 Boards for 99 Keiki

Battle Scar x Liam McNamara Community Recovery

The “99-Year Storm” caused $1 billion in damage, but its greatest theft was the childhood of our Waialua–Haleiwa keiki. On the North Shore, the ocean is our sanctuary. Losing a surfboard means losing a connection to friends, culture, and the heartbeat of the community.

Liam McNamara knows this struggle personally. Arriving in Waialua in 1978 with nothing, he relied on the kindness of neighbors to get his start. That community support turned a boy sleeping on a floor into a world-class athlete and leader. Today, we are closing the circle.

The Goal: 99 New Boards in April

  • [✓] $600 – Provides one brand-new high-performance board.
  • [✓] $300 – Provides one brand-new soft-top for a grom.
  • [✓] Have an Extra Surf Board To Donate? – Drop off at North Shore Surf Shop Haleiwa location next to Ace Hardware or Pupukea location next to Foodland Pupukea.
